What nice people they must have at the BCS....finding good bowl games for stray Dawgs....this from Rivals.com on Yahoo Sports...
........No. 4 this week is Georgia, which is ranked 10 spots higher than Tennessee despite two things: 1. The Vols beat the Bulldogs in their head-to-head matchup; and 2. The Vols won the SEC East ahead of Georgia. A team that doesn't win its conference title is guaranteed an at-large spot in the BCS if it finishes in the top four in the standings.

Can the Eagles pull possibly the biggest upset in NFL history?

Have you heard of the NFL? the copycat of the real thing?

Should the CFL allow the NFL to exist? Surely the NFL is violating copyright law of some kind by copying our sport. I think we should sue the NFL out of existence.

I am tired of seeing so many NFL questions on Yahoo! Answers in the last few days. It is polluting the sports section.

If you want to talk about football, talk about CANADIAN football only.
Canadian football has been around longer, Grey cup 95 years, Superbowl 45 years.

On the New England Patriot's field, what are those gray wrench-looking things painted on the grass?

You alway know about Brett Favre's records become the top at four times this season.

He leads the records;
1. most NFL career touchdown pass at 436 (currently)
2. most NFL career interceptions thrown at 281
3. one of first quarterbacks that can beat all 31 teams (with Tom Brady and Peyton Manning)
4. most NFL career all time victories at 156

Now he still in second in the career passing yards behind Dan Marino's career yards at 61,361.

How does Ohio State get 6 votes for first place in a bye week?

Last week (Nov 17) Ohio State beat Michigan and got ZERO votes from coaches for first place. This week (Nov 24) they DIDN'T EVEN PLAY and got SIX...

I could understand if theyalready had 6 before, and coaches stuck with them through a bye, that's sensible. In fact, I wish more coaches/voters were that steady.

I think the most likely explanation is 6 Big Ten coaches realized they'd like a Big Ten team in the national championship more than Big Twelve, Big East or Southeastern conference teams.

After LSU lost on Friday, theoretically Missouri vs. Kansas was a matchup of #3 (or 2 AP) versus #1 which should produce #1.
It can't be the 8 Kansas voters from Week 13 changing votes. If you thought Kansas was #1 then you'd have to give your #1 to top-ranked Missouri for beating your #1 vote.
