They're near the sidelines around the 50 yard line. There's one on each side. They look like wrenches with yellow lines extending from them. What they heck are they? It's driving me nuts trying to figure it out!

It is a light house. There is a real one out in front of the stadium. Loof for it in the background shots.

Lighthouses are a symbol of the New England coast line so the Pats incorporated it in their new stadium when they built it in 2002.

I believe its the visiting teams dignity And the Patriots trample all over it as they run up and down the field
