it was totally on how badly the Giants played and not at least some coverage on how great the Vikings played. I mean they're always cited for being terrible against the pass and yet...

I think mainly cause the nbc show is based on NY and im sure there big giant fans and prefer to talk about how embarrasing the giants play when they play horrible, the vikings should get credit for outplaying the giants. this also can happen to the other teams, not just the giants, that do bad in a game, so they can explain how bad their effort was.
but its understandable since its a NY team, they will get a lot of heat if they fail.

Eli will never be the quarterback like his brother or half the man his mother is. Last 2 games against the Vikings he has tossed 8 interceptions with 4 of them being run back for touchdowns(3 of them coming today). NBC might love the Pats but they will still have some love for a Manning
Plus its Tiki's fault why they lost

i watched the game too. you must admit, the Giants played horrible. Eli's passes were way off target. however, the vikings did do an excellent job on defense. it's a mix of both to be honest. everything basically went the Vikings way. what made the Vikings so tough today was their DL providing the pressure on Eli. that forced mistakes and allowed Minnesota to dominate. Even as a Packer fan, i must give the Vikings props for their dominating performance. well done.

I think people over estimate the giants and under estimate them as well. Every time they win a game, they praise them but if they were to lose even by 1 pt, they aren't a "serious" team. I do think Eli gets blamed more then he should get the punch but as a QB, that's just the way it is.

I don't think the Giants are a bad team. They are just too inconsistent. When they have a great game, they usually dominated. when they have a bad game, it usually due to turn overs. so they aren't as bad as people call them out to be, but they aren't as good either.

That's the way they like to cover things in New York. When they're mediocre it's overhyped, when they do bad it seems like a national crisis. As a Giants fan, I would've much rather have heard about the good things the Vikings did instead of the mistakes of my team.

It's because the Vikings suck, the Giants suck. The NFC sucks.

However, that TD run by Chester Taylor was sweeeeet.

Chuck Foreman would be proud.
