What nice people they must have at the BCS....finding good bowl games for stray Dawgs....this from Rivals.com on Yahoo Sports...
........No. 4 this week is Georgia, which is ranked 10 spots higher than Tennessee despite two things: 1. The Vols beat the Bulldogs in their head-to-head matchup; and 2. The Vols won the SEC East ahead of Georgia. A team that doesn't win its conference title is guaranteed an at-large spot in the BCS if it finishes in the top four in the standings.

LSU will not pass Georgia even if they win the SEC title game.

And Tennessee winning the SEC East title instead of Georgia counts as only that, Tennessee going to the title game instead of Georgia. That was Georgia's last loss, and they've been the most impressive SEC team since then. Tennessee has lost once since then, and LSU has lost twice.

Georgia deserves a BCS bid and will get one, while the title game loser will be looking at probably the Cap One or Cotton Bowls.

Since that Tennessee game Georgia pulled their heads out of their collective asses. They've have played as good any team in the country over the last half of the season. They won 6 straight to close out the regular season including putting total *** kickings on 3 ranked teams in a four week period.

Simply put the Dawgs are better than the Vols and the folks that know football are aware of this.
