Jan 2 FedEx Orange Bowl played at 8:00 in Miami FL
Jan 3 Allstate Sugar Jan. 3 8 p.m. New Orleans, La.
The granddaddy bowl of course the Rose is played on Jan 1st at 5pm we all know this right.

Consider that you have about 100 division I teams. Also, how would you devise a playoff system? You can't have 64 teams - like in college basketball - play 3 games per week to get a champion. Thus, isn't the BCS the best system used to this point in time, even though it's not perfect?
How could you pick teams to go into a playoff system without causing just as much controversy as the BCS does in the first place?

I help as an assistant coach to a 8 man flag football team. We run a basic defense of 5 dlinemen and 3 defensive backs. I have the 3 defensive backs pick up any man who runs out for a pass whether it is a RB, Oline or someone lined up at WR. Most the time they don't line up at WR it is mostly RB's who get the passes. But as the DB takes the player going for the pass what are the fundamentals to teach them? How much cushion, when to look at the QB etc. Also how to teahc them to recognize the pass versus run?

I don't mean who you hate the most because of how badly he might beat you're favorite team. I want to know who you think shouldn't be on the sidelines because he either doesn't have a clue on how to coach OR that he is a dirty coach because of his win no matter what it takes. (cheating or too rough play)
Prior to the season I would have said Ron Zook or Sylvester Croom, but lately they have been getting better performances out of their teams. Or is that a fluke?

Since the formation of the BCS have the traditional bowl pairings been declared null and void. do the big 10 and pac 10 teams still go to the rose bowl, the big east champ to the orange, sec champ to the Sugar and the big 12 champ to the Fiesta?

I mean I would love for them to come back and play Ohio State again and this time beat them. Texas is not the same football team as they were when they first played OSU on Sept. 10. I also understand that I Michagan must lose to OSU on Nov. 18, but is it still possible that TExas can play in the Tostitos Fiesta bowl Jan. 4??? I mean even if Michigan loses to OSU who's to say that they won't play against OSU in the Fiesta Bowl??? What else has to happen to help Texas make it to the National Championship??? Your thoughts...

i heard on the t.newman show(yes i live in dallas) when the cowboys lose that newman and a.henry like to"buy stuff" after the skins game newman bought some diamonds and henry bought a lexus. so being how much it costs the average fan to go to a game do you think they should "buy a clue" watch some tape, work on the penalties and shut their stupid mouths?
