Football to me is a great sport because as a football fan you have this emotion for your team that you really can't get anywhere else. When they lose your whole week is off and when they win you know you just may have the best week. Football also has a lot contact and action the hits. The way they line up on the line of scrimmage. you cant get this kind of feeling from any other sport. I know my answer may not be the best but it is definitely how i feel about football.

At 5"3 growing to 5"10 you need to build body mass and muscle right away. 5"10 minimum 175 lbs. You could be used on the outside edge as a run containment LB or a blitz back. Practice shuttling skills and sprinting, if youre smarter then the guys you compete against you will be better. (reading draws and PA) Forget about being on a D-line I played for a state championship team (Middle Linebacker) and our D-line was minimum 6"0 with 280 lbs+ (texas)

I think football is the greatest sport there is. Twenty two players going hard for 90 minutes with no time outs, only three substitutions, no commercials, and just a brief break in the middle. A sport of true skill and endurance.

I live in the US (born and bred here) but I am a huge Everton fan and try to never missed a televise premier leag game. Of course you are no doubt talking about American football right? You'll find people equally excited about that, just as I used to be for 39 years, right up til I saw my first football (soccer ) game. For the past 10 years though it's been the premier leag for me. And I live in an NFL town.

Frankly I could really care less anymore. I'v lived in 3 pro football towns. Buffalo in the 90's. That was a great time to be a Bills fan. But what a laugh....4 times on the dance floor and no ring. Seattle and Cleveland. Tickets are to high. There's so many new faces and names, whos who. Cosell and Gifford are gone. It's all big money now. Even the networks need millions just to broadcast a game. All the commercials telling me what I'm supposed to like and how I should look. And if I drink this beer..........well....I'm gonna be in this chic crowd. lol .....I usually watch a first quarter...........then head out the door. Thanks, I feel better. I think the best thing going for it is the tailgate parties.

For actual strategy and team work, football is easily the best sport. It is the closest we have to the strategy of chess and the feel of war in a sport.

Hockey is the only other sport close in either respect, but none of the other big four sports offer a need for team work the way football does.

Examples, if one has a good offensive line it makes for good receivers, good runners, and even good defense as they assist in keeping the defense off the field. Good linebackers make a team's quarterback look better every time they force an opponent into giving up field position.

In hockey you have the team work, but a great goalie won't help you score goals. In basketball there is some team work, but a single player can be all a "team" needs. In baseball...well...I just don't see real team aspects in baseball as its all based on the individual. I will give baseball a mark on strategy, though it still falls behind football and hockey in that.
