for christmas, I got my boyfriend tickets to a vikings game thats on new years eve. He looooves football and i dont really know much about it. I got tickets for me, my boyfriend, my dad, and my brother (it was a deal) and im pretty much the only one whos not gonna know whats going on. i mean i know what a touchdown is and... well thats about it ( i know im stupid ) what are some things i should know so that i have a good time and impress my man with my knowlege :)

If Ohio State blows out Michigan (or other way round) and USC defeats Notre Dame by a huge margin, do yopu think USC will play in the national title game?

This assumes that none of the 4 teams in question loses another game in the regular season.

Im no Bronco fan, but this guy has been great for Den...Rod Smith finally has a really good #2 receiver aside him to help take away double coverage. Walker is 7th in the league in reception yards and has 6TD. Who else has played this good so far?

I think it would be interesting but the only draw back would be the rules in the NFL and CFL are different. But we all know the Super Bowl champ would crush the Grey Cup champ.

They also tied with the record of a 108 yard touchdown, which was also previously done only by a BEAR (Nathan Vasher). And also Grossman might not be the best QB in the leauge, but he fits in perfectly with the great Bears defense, and our special team. And also how about our kicker ?? 26 for 26 in field goals?? The Bears are the best overall team in NFL.

I know that when a team misses a field goal, the other team gets the ball from the previous spot. And I know that if a field goal is short, the other team can catch it and return it (as in last nights game NY vs Chicago). But if a player catches the field goal in the end zone (like last night) but doesn't return it and takes a knee in the end zone, does that team get the ball on the 20 yard line or from the original line of scrimmage. Like if the Bears player wouldn't have run out with the ball, would Chicago have gotten it from the 20, or from where the field goal was missed.

Okay, so everyone seems to think Favre will be back again next year. As a PACKER fan, I AM VERY happy!!! In fact, Brett can play 5 more years for all I care!! McCarthy said he wants him back, Marino told him not to retire until he cannot play anymore, most importantly HE LOVES THE GAME! The question is, what do we do with Aarron Rodgers? Leave him on the bench for two more years? Or is it time to part ways and try to trade him somewhere? I am sure a lot of teams would take him, bottom line is that he WILL NOT be starting in GB anytime soon....knock on wood (don't need Favre getting hurt).
