If Ohio State blows out Michigan (or other way round) and USC defeats Notre Dame by a huge margin, do yopu think USC will play in the national title game?

This assumes that none of the 4 teams in question loses another game in the regular season.

Me, I love the Huskers too! I basically learnt the game of football when I was in Omaha. I am partial to the Tom OSborne style of football where they throw no more than 15 times in a game! And where have the mighty black shirts gone?

P.S I don't get to watch their games - I live on the east coast now

Yes this is very likely to happen, OSU wins, USC has to win out, on strength of schedule USC stays ahead of Rutgers and Florida and _ichigan. They meet in Championship game which will be in what will feel like 10 months away. This game or OSU vs Florida are the two matchups that would be the most entertaining. Eitherway OSU destroys who ever they play after scUM, that is the real championship game this Saturday.

i think USC will lose their upcoming game and then go to a second class bowl against Arkansas or if they win they will not go to the national championship either. Arkansas is to good this year after a minor loss to USC. But they will win their last 3 games and move up possible to the National Championship or a rematch with USC and beat they horribly. Ohio State and Michigan will have a battle of the best and whoever wins it will be in the national champion ship.
But I still love the Huskers. Did you see their win against Texas A&M very cool.
GO BIG RED!!!

If neither loses? I believe that USC would have a very, very good chance at playing in the NC game. If you look at it, so far they beat a ranked team (Oregon) and will face two (at one point) highly ranked teams in Notre Dame and California. UCLA is always a, at the least, respectable team (compared to some of the other conferences) so I think that winning out would give USC a great chance at the NC.

in order for USC to make it, they will need to wallop the cal bears AND notre dame. then they will have to finish strong against cross-town rival UCLA.

USC 38 cal 28
USC 45 notre dame 41
USC 42 ucla 24

since michigan will beat ohio state this saturday, it will be USC vs michigan for the "natty"

the perfect crew. it will be relaxing to visual demonstrate unit and Ohio State is better than many human beings imagine. The Buckeyes are able to pulling off this small dissatisfied and Beanie Wells isn't (I repeat!) isn't the really Buckeye who can run. they'll be tremendous and that i imagine it will be an extremely close recreation. probable 31 - 28 and whoever wins will benefit this through a field objective.

Both Ohio State and Mich are in Big Ten. If they keep game close as you allude to as a possibility, then yes they will likely play again for national title game. Giving millions in revenue to both teams.
