I'm trying to find out why Keith Jackson hasn't been announcing any of the college foortball games this year. Has anyone heard what has happened to him?

He's more or less retired.

He still does some light color analyst work, and will do some spot work for ABC in Bowl Game coverage.

I heard him on the radio the other day, so his head is NOT being frozen, ala Ted Williams.

He "retired". I think the only game he announces now is the Rose Bowl.

I believe he was walking through the Nevada dessert sucking on a bottle of Wild Turkey when he stumbled upon an irritable scorpion that stung him in his fat a@@, and that caused him to fall into a large hole that a mafia hitman was digging. It is rumored that he lies somewhere near Jimmy Hoffa..........If that's not true, then it should be.
