Okay, so everyone seems to think Favre will be back again next year. As a PACKER fan, I AM VERY happy!!! In fact, Brett can play 5 more years for all I care!! McCarthy said he wants him back, Marino told him not to retire until he cannot play anymore, most importantly HE LOVES THE GAME! The question is, what do we do with Aarron Rodgers? Leave him on the bench for two more years? Or is it time to part ways and try to trade him somewhere? I am sure a lot of teams would take him, bottom line is that he WILL NOT be starting in GB anytime soon....knock on wood (don't need Favre getting hurt).

I would make sure Rodgers stays in the mix and has a say to keep up his attutude. I would keep him around for quite awhile, he seems to have a very mature attitiude about this thing and I like a level headed guy... Favre can still play but he will not commit long term and you must always have a contingency plan. Rodgers is still a young guy and you always need good backup at that position. I know the Pack have been very fortunate with Favre but I would caution on the side of error and keep Rodgers.

Just keep Rodgers around until Favre retires. Whether it be 2 years or 5 years from now, Rodgers will learn more from the sidelines and practice. Look at how Romo turned out after being on the bench for 4 years.

Send Rodgers to Buffalo. I'm sure the Bills would be happy to take the Pack's castoffs after the disaster that is JP Losman.

Unless there is a reasonable young QB in this year's draft that the Packers can get their hands on...this does get a bit sticky. If they were to pick #1, Brady Quinn might be good to sit behind Favre for another year or two...

If not, they could mess the Packers future for sometime were they to allow Favre to continue and get rid of Rodgers without that possibility.

they should keep aaron rodgers for 2 reason 1 brett favre hasn't commited to playing long term and 2 just in case brett favre does get hurt you will have a back up plan plus i don't think they will get much for him anyway considering that teams in need of a qb will be able to get a good qb in the draft because they will have high enough draft picks

Keep Rodgers. Favre may breakdown and will need a backup.
When u are getting older, your chance of getting injured is much higher,

Let Rogers go somewhere else, he deserves to. I'm glad you Packers fans, or at least some of you, want Farve because I can't imagine anyone else wanting him. He's a bum now. I won't take away from what he WAS but that was his prime. Rice had the good sense to retire when his Carrer was slowing down and will always be remembered as one of the best WRs ever. All Farve will do is make it so people will remember he held on too long and was a bum.
