Football (American) - September 2006

This guy is amazing. The competition loads the box and he still makes 211 yards in the Oregon game. He has a natural talent that few have and I think he deserves the Heisman more than any player I have watched this year. The kid will be the 1st pick in the NFL draft.

Shaun Alexander and Armani Toomer for Clinton Portis and Hines Ward. I'll be giving away Alexander & Toomer for Portis & Ward.

I'm worried that Alexander will be nothing without this O-Line that has done so well for him the past few seasons.

I was watching football this weekend and a penalty was called against the center. I have never seen this before and have no clue what it is called, but the penalty took 10 second of the play clock. Can someone please explain this to me. Thanx.

OK, I am prepared for people to make fun of me, but....here goes. I live in Alaska. The state is starting an Arena Football League. I asked a few people just what that was. Is it like semi-pro or what? These people just rolled their eyes and said I must not be too into football. I have not been, but Alaska has never had any type of team like that. I bought a T-shirt at the fair (a team t-shirt) and I want to be supportive of our first team. I found a lot of sites on Arena Football but nothing giving me a definition.
