Reggie Bush took money and all kinds of talk about imposing sanctions, stripping his Heisman trophy and such. Troy smith accepted money and all they did was suspend him for one game. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

You see its all a chain reaction--he plays for Ohio State--which means he likes guys--which probably means he sucked off the chairman of the NCAA

Ohio State was the ones to bring Troy's violation to the attention of the NCAA. Did USC bring Reggie's violation to the attention of the NCAA? I think not. Did Ohio State allow agents access to their players? I think not.

Also Troy accepted money one time, where as Reggie and his family accepted hundreds of thousands, in money, a car, a house, and so on.

Calill C,
He violated and was punished according to his violation. Reggie violated BIG TIME and now it is his turn to be punished and you cannot tell me USC didn't know, New Era Sports went through the Compliance Office.

Also after watching the games this year even a LSU fan should know they can't hang with Ohio State!

troy took about $500 bucks and addmittied to being wrong and paid it back(before he has an NFL contract)
reggie is rumored to have taken up to $1million
Yea I think there is a difference

(Plus in Troys case I think it kinda caused them the championship a little last year I think if he would have started against texas last year they would have beat texas)
