I'm a season ticket holder and I think it's going to be a trainwreck!

I only want running backs here, so with the obvious pick of Portis out, how much should I let my pick slip to pick up a high reception back. I am very high on taking S.Jackson, although I have him ranked 8th on my sheets. I figure if I take a back who gets 6 receptions a game as opposed to 1 it is worth an extra touchdown a week. Also how much should I let that weigh into the decision of my running backs. Thanks alot.

With the 11th pick I can either get a RB2 (who may be of questionable value) or get a top notch WR like Steve Smith, T.O. or Torry Holt. If I wait for my 3rd round pick (#30) all the top WRs will be gone. What is the best value at that #11 pick?

8th pick in the draft who should i take?

This trade is kinda lopsided because i do have a lot of good pitching. But i don't know if it will help my team. Because have i would have 4 Superstar outfielders. and 4 well above average ones. So i will have a Superstar on my bench. I guess i can start trading OF's away. The trade offer is:Beltran ,Dye & Sizemore
Players you give up:
Jones, Todd RP DET
Weaver, Jered SP ANA
Should I Accept?

Damon, Griffey, or Mathews jr.

Right now i'm starting Griffey and Damon which is working out well, but Mathews Jr. plays 4games in TB next week. So i'm thinking he will have a good series there.

All my OF's play 7 games next week so # of games won't be a factor.

C. Guillen has 7 games while Reyes only has 6 next week. Last time this happened i started Reyes and he ended up with 38pts while C.Guillen ended up with 36pt. on the bench. Should i just keep Reyes in there and hope he stays hot.?

For all you fantasy football players that really know what your talking about, in my league, some guy offered mee Chad Johnson and Reggie Bush for Tiki Barber. What do you guys think of this trade, is it fair?

2006-08-16 09:21:28 · 16 answers · asked by apocalypse 5

Let's say you play in a 12-team non-keeper league with savvy opponents who are not going to waste early picks on iffy hunches.

***In this league it is possible to start 3 RBs every week.***

You have the first pick.

Obviously, you'll spend the first pick on your favorite RB. But, after that, you've got two choices:
1) Spend your second and third picks on RBs, in which case you get 1 great RB, two decent RBs, and no really good WRs.
2) Spend one of your next two picks on a WR, in which case you get 1 great RB, 1 great WR, 1 decent RB, and, at best, a non-starting sleeper RB for that third spot.

Bear in mind that, when I say "decent" RB, I'm talking players like Corey Dillon, Willie Parker, at best, Willis McGahee. Everyone else will be gone by the second spot.

Every position gets 6 pts/TD. 7/10 of a pt per 10 yds for RBs and WRs, 1 pt/25 yds for QB. No pts per reception.
