The cardinal rule for any Fantasy Sports is to never trade a top pick for some spare parts and this trade is no different. I'd admit that I would trade Favre right now because of constent retirement talks and that he's on a downside of his career where his team is starting to rebuild (add to the fact that Aaron Rodgers is not that far behind), but including LT in the deal just doesn't cut it for me and here's why:
1) Johnson is arguably one of the top recievers in the game, but question surrounding Carson Palmer's health determines the value of Johnson and like his cousin Keyshawn, had a cocky attitude toward the game to go along with his superior talent (like Moss, Shockey, and Owens, but more lighthearted and funnier). Hell, he even got gold plated teeth (can you say bling bling?).
2) Brees is coming off shoulder surgery and he doesn't have the benefit of having LT and Gates on the team anymore (Although that Bush kid isn't that bad). His status is still unknown and whether or not he's healthy, he still has to get adjusted to the new offense that made Aaron Brooks look bad (not that Brooks was any good anyway). Clearly, having a two back system and decent recievers in Horn and Stallworth should help but the NFC plays differently than the AFC so how Brees handling the league adjustment is the key factor.
3) LT is still the best around and still goes #1 in some drafts (Alexander and LJ are the majority #1). Sure, Philips Rivers is taking over center, but LT still has the same offensive line as last season, so LT is going to be alright, as long as Rivers is passing like Brees.

It really depends on what else you have, and where you are strong/weak...
If you have strength at RB and are weak at WR, the trade isn't all that bad. I think Brees will be better than Favre will be this year. If anything, Green Bay's offense got worse with the loss of Javon Walker. Brees will put up solid numbers for New Orleans so long as he's healthy.
LT and Chad are pretty much a wash at their respective positions.
The only advice I can offer is don't make yourself so weak you are depending on #2 or #3 level backs by trading away LT. If you have the depth at RB, I'd pull the trigger.

That is a horrible trade for the person losing Tomlinson and Favre. You're getting rid of probably the third best overall player and a borderline backup/starter caliber QB to get maybe the 17th best player and a backup caliber QB. Pretty much no matter who else you have on your team, you can't win with this trade.

Depends on who you are getting and the scoring system. But whoever is getting LT is making out like a bandit!

Without seeing the makeup of your league, i'm going to assume its a standard league. I would say that is a servely lopsided deal. if it was me i might even say no just because i would feel like i was cheating.
