The only time Brown was ever ahead of Williams was during the draft. When they shared time in the Auburn backfield in college C. Williams was 1A and Brown was 1B and there was a reason for that, Caddy is a better back.
But in the NFL there are more variables so you need to look at the team and coach. Gruden will run Caddy like no other, but there is your risk. Will Gruden run Caddy to much too early like he did last year? Brown has Saben and Saben likes a more balenced attack but Brown probably won't be as productive early on.
My suggestion, take Caddy and don't be afraid to trade him later for a comparable back (ie Brown) and a little something extra to upgrade your team.

Either will do. They both look like they will have good seasons. If it had to be one or the other though I would go with brown. Skill wise I think Williams is better but TB has alot of people they can use in the backfeild. If I was coaching, Alstott would get all the goal line touches. Also Pitman is an under rated runner who is real good catching passes. He is to good not to use a few times a game.

I would go with Brown. Better offense and he doesn't have a guy like Alstott to take away his goal line carries. Also Williams seems to get banged up more often and the last thing you need on a weekly basis is a questionable status. But I would take S. Jackson oer both of them if possible.

Go with Ronnie. He managed to get 800 yards spliting carries with Ricky Williams. Now that Ricky Williams is gone he will explode!

I'd go with Ronnie Brown. I think with Ricky gone Ronnie will take 75% of Ricky's carries and Sammy Morris will see (maybe) 25% of Ricky's carries in spot duty.

u can't go wrong with either, but R.Brown doesn't have to split carries with Ricky Williams, so he's get more carries than C.Williams... something to think about...
