Watching OJ Mayo play has made me think playing a couple years at USC could get the ball hog out of him. When hes in the game slows down and is boring and his teammates stand around. When he came out you could see how good the other guys are because the ball moves around quickly. Mayo is a talent but if he could learn to do his thing without having the superstar mentality, and in the flow of the offense he could be more effective.

If he is calling a game even if Duke is not playing he has to mention their name...What is up with that? The BYU-Carolina game all is could talk about is BYU's two big players. It is like listening to fingernails going down a chalkboard to hear his commentations.

he's so full of himself he is not even in the league of second tier superstars... ( i.e. Carter, Yao Ming, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen etc ) beside he did not do anything impressive in his entire career

I have great respect for all that Bill Russell did, but there were nowhere near the number of teams when he played nor was it as difficult to stockpile great players for a long period (cousy, havlicek, heinson, s.jones, k.c. jones etc.). Also if winning is the only criteria to base greatness of a player on, Steve Kerr and Robert Horry shall also go down in history ahead of Jordan...Again I have tremendous respect for Russell as a bball player, but I can't see how the argument can be made against MJ... But I encourage you to try ;) Please don't tell me about 11 vs. 6, I get it.

I say no because Lamar can cut through defense like a hot knife through butter. What do you think?
