What is the best basketball defense to play? Our offense is practically dead. We have one player who has a giant ego who shoots at least 25 times a game. He will usually only be 5 for 25. How do we get him to pass up the ball? And what could be an awesome play to make simple baskets on offense?

I can dribble with both hands alright! I am very agressive on defense! I am not very tall but can make 6 out of 10 shots! I have played on a rec. team for 3 years.

I am on my mom yahoo. I am on varsity boys and I do have skills, I just didn't have the status and know the right people to be able to play....all politics at that school. Anyway, I have been to a SEC D1 Basketball camp three years in a row and brought home the highest award in my age group out of 116 boys twice and best all around shooter once. Sometimes, the problem isn't the player at all....its the coach. All I want is a chance at a scholarship. I dont even care if it is a JuCo. Thanks for the comment

Mine is the one that Iverson used to do during his younger days... Dunking with one hand and lowering your head with your knees slightly bent and legs apart... It just looks so cool...

Another favourite of mine is the windmills... I just love to see them windmills... Just powerful...

Tracy McGrady is not scoring as much as he used to. He was my favorite when he was the best scorer in the league. What has happened to him? Has he become more of a ball distributor than a scorer? Or has his scoring ability declined? What's happening here? Please be specific. I don't want answers like "he sucks" or some sht like that.

I tried out for the basketball team in early November, and I made it. Great. But a month and a half into the season, basketball seems to have lost the thing that made me love to play it in the first place. Fun. I'm really hating coming to practice every day, running till my legs fall off, and it doesn't help that everyone else on the team is a cocky jackass who never do anything to help anyone; all they do is tell you how horrible you are. Even when I play in games, making a great play isn't fun anymore. It's also getting in the way of school, and pretty much everything else. But, I've always been taught to stay with something if you're committed to it. I'm really not enjoying myself, and basketball is actually making me more stressed than I already am, but the coach is a nice guy, and I don't want to disappoint him or my parents. What should I do?
