A good move on both parts. Blake will be asked to pass the ball, which he is probably more inclined to do than shoot, something Boykins will have trouble doing. When Carmelo comes back, he, Iverson, and Smith will take about 70% of the shots, and Boykins will not be as effective. Blake will be there to distribute when Karl moves Iverson to SG during some possessions. And Boykins will be a good bench player for the Bucks when they get Mo Williams and Redd healthy again. With Villanueva's injury, Boykins will provide a huge offensive boost off the bench.

Honestly i think Boykins got traded because he was short. Thats what I think. If he was 6 2 and putting up the same numbers he would be on the nuggets. Just look at his stats after Carmelo got suspended and you will how good he is because Carmelo is not there to take most of the shots. I think the trade wont really hurt the nuggets that much since they have iverson added to their roster. So both teams benefit at the end of the day.

I am not familiar of Steve Blake at all but have always been an Earl Boykins fan. I think he is good!

i think it's a great trade for the bucks. the only reason i could see why denver would do this is because ai and melo absorb almost all the points. blake will be able to feed melo and ai and still make the occasional shot. earl, although he comes off the bench, plays like ai and melo in that he's out there to score. there just isn't enough points to go around.

Because coaches have NO SAY in TRADING and DRAFTING in the NBA. Managers need to stay out of the Coaches way.
