Nope, as long as it doesn't touch it. Larry Bird did it before. I haven't seen Andre Iguodala or Kobe do it though.

define "over the glass"
if it directly over it it doesn't matter if it touches it or not
it is out of bounds
but if the flight of the ball corners the glass,touching or not it counts as a shot
