Ive been thinking that if this gods plans would have worked out,and we had all lived forever on earth because evehadnt ate tht fruit can you imagine the amount of people on this planet by now because nobody would ever have died and procreation would have carried on. Its over populated now,and people die. His plans wouldnt have worked out anyway.

That scientists are proving more and more things in the Bible. Or that the Bible is also a great work of Literature, it contains every type of literary style. Or it is a History book, it has survived from the ancient times until the present day with total accurate portrayal of historical events? It's not just a religious book, and definatly NOT a fairy tale.

If you believe that homosexuality is sin then shouldn't they be able to teach and preach since everybody sins?

And if you believe that they are born that way then why would the church not let them teach and preach?

i seriously wonder, why is it that when a muslim leaves the faith, its so harsh? i know a guy who decided to become christian and the whole community turned his back on him, friends left him, parents disowned him, etc...... if he lived in certain countries, they probably wouldve declared him mentally ill or had him killed. i know that leaving christianity isn't exactly a cake walk either, but its not this harsh (well all know of other examples, no need to bring them up). but in islam it seems like "apostates" are looked upon as "less than" and are treated so harshly? is it a culture thing? is it an intolerance thing? isn't faith about following what you believe in your heart, even if it's not what others believe in? just wondering.

If you truly take God on FAITH, meaning that you accept the absence of proof, how on Earth do you choose?

If I choose to put my faith in a giant cheeseburger as God, and accept on faith that said cheeseburger exists WITHOUT proof, would you ask me to prove it? If so, then how would you reply if someone asked you to prove that the Christian concept of God truly exists?

If you think about it, just look at all of creation for the proof of my claim. How can you deny the fact that McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, and so many other hamburger restaurants have prospered and continue to bring wealth to so many? Is this merely a big coincidence?

SO, if your religion is based on PROOF, how has it been proven in a way that this one hasn't?
If it is based on FAITH, why should I take your religion on faith and not this one?

If you answer "yes", please tell me what kinds of beings you recognize, and how (if ever) humans should interact with each, according to your faith.

Please note: recognizing the existence of something does not mean you actively worship it. It just means you "know" something is there.

ATHIESTS: just say "BOO" or something for your 2 pts. We already know you don't believe in anything other than humans.

Matthew 1:23 tells us that this was a prophecy of Jesus. But Jesus was named Jesus — not Immanuel. Can someone explain this? Can someone explain this without scripture?

"The Qur'an says this, the Bible says that, therefore the Qur'an is wrong"

I've seen this over and over and over again.
Which Muslims agreed that the Bible is right in the first place?
Why do you keep translating the word 'Injeel' from the Qur'an to mean the Bible? What is your source of translation?

Besides, the Qur'an says that the Injeel has been corrupted so if you still insist on translating the word Injeel to "The Bible", its still not credible from the standards of the Qur'an.

I mean no disrespect. Just wondering at your logic.

Are other things relevant, like fossils of Australopithecus? And DNA?

This is for those who argue, not those who honestly question. You know which one you are:

Why is it that some athiests play the "prove there is a God" card, and then base their belief (or non belief on that)? To put it another way, how is "Prove God exists" an argument?

For one, there is plenty of proof out there. If you choose to reject it, that's fine. It's up to you what you decide to believe.

But consider this. If YOU choose to make the claim that God doesn't exist, then why don't YOU take responsibility and prove it to yourself. Because it's YOUR claim, the burden of proof is on YOU. Therefore why do I need to prove anything? It's not my claim, it's yours. Why should your belief depend on me? Who am I to have that kind of authority?

Is it not your decision? So how is it logical to argue or base a belief on what I can or can't prove. Why not prove your own ideas yourself?
