"The Qur'an says this, the Bible says that, therefore the Qur'an is wrong"

I've seen this over and over and over again.
Which Muslims agreed that the Bible is right in the first place?
Why do you keep translating the word 'Injeel' from the Qur'an to mean the Bible? What is your source of translation?

Besides, the Qur'an says that the Injeel has been corrupted so if you still insist on translating the word Injeel to "The Bible", its still not credible from the standards of the Qur'an.

I mean no disrespect. Just wondering at your logic.

First of all, the Bible has more evidence to support it's accuracy as a historical document than any other books written that long ago by a wide margin. So claiming that the Bible we have today isn't the same as when it was originally written is a ploy that various cults have always used when they want to teach something that contradicts God's Word. God is God. He certainly can preserve his Word to mankind throughout the centuries.

Secondly, God is not only eternal but He is unchanging. That means that He doesn't grow older and change his mind about things. So if any prophet or book claims to have come from divine inspiration and it contradicts what God has already said then you know that the claim is spurious. It doesn't matter if it's a Muslim prophet or a Mormon prophet or somene who claims to be a Christian prophet. If it doesn't agree with what God has already said then it's not from Him and it's wrong.

The old "he said, she said" arguement is bad debate form. A Christian will argue "eminent domain" for the Bible (ie, it was here first), and a Muslim will argue "replacement theology" (my prophet is better than your prophet, we supplant you). Neither arguement goes far enough to establish either book as having more authority than the other! There must be other evidences provided by each side.

I've never heard of the "Injeel", so can't comment.

The only thing I can tell you for sure is that God said every prophecy in the bible will come true, it is his word and his promise of things that have happened and of things happening and of things yet to happen.

For you to believe that the bible is corrupt, you would have to believe much of the Quran is corrupt, for much of it refers to the bible for creibility.

Now take the later years of transcriptions in the Quran and compare them to the earlier. There are downright changes and these changes are explained away as its ok to change it, God changed his mind, so Mohammad wrote it down.

God states very early on that he will not change his mind and that the bible cannot be changed, not even a period, dot or tittle can be changed, or woe to the one that changes it.

For the Quran to be perfect word of God, you couldnt have a change of mind, to say , yes this was right about me then and now its not right anymore.

And as for comforter that was to come after Jesus left the earth. If Mohammaad is the comforter, he would not have died, he would still be very much alive, for how can one comfort if he is gone.

The comforter is the HOLY SPIRIT, and keeps evil at bay, (not gone,at least not yet) the comforter shines light on darkness.
None of these two characteristics can be given to Mohammad by looking at his life and his death.

The tribulation period is to be seven years, so even if you thought the Mohammad was the comforter, its been well over seven years and no change or newness as far as the end is concerned.

I'll try to focus upon your question.

The trouble with that statement is intolerance.

The statement should be:
"The Qur'an says this, the Bible says that, you are a muslim, and therefore I expect that you will place your faith in the Qu'ran. I am a Christian, and therefore it is reasonable that I place my faith in the Bible. God bless you, brother. Go in peace."

When you can say that, you've earned the right to call yourself a Christian.

i'm Christian and that i think as you do..i do no longer think that there is any branch of the tree that God will deliver the entire of to hell for believing and following..i think of we are able to all be choose individually. i think all of us who can call themselves Christian and convey an opinion that each and every person ____'s are going to hell is unquestionably no longer living a Christ crammed life. i detect that the diverse ideals of the Muslim faith and Christian faith are comparable in spite of the indisputable fact that no longer superb. We the two have faith in own accountability..we are actually not preordained to sin..yet we are born flesh so that's a conflict to stay interior the spirit and not of the flesh. would God bless you for being open minded adequate to discover yet another faith if yet just to appreciate extra and not convert to.
