There is absolutely nothing to indicate that Mary Magdeline was anything other than a disciple.

In fact, the best historical evidence supports the liklihood that Mary Magdeline was the wife of Jesus' uncle, the wealthy tin merchant, Joseph of Arimathea.

This would mean that Mary Magdeline was actually Jesus' aunt.

This nonsense about Jesus having a romantic realtionship is the product of outrageously liberal "theologians" and is just another symptom of a society that is fixated on sexual matters of all kinds.

Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, became man in order to destroy Satan's power over mankind, to make possible the forgiveness of sins, and to establish his Church (the earthly kingdom of God).

He didn't come here to take a wife.

If he did, we would have certainly known about it, long, long ago.

The only "wife" that Jesus will one day take to himself is the new covenant Church, which he instituted in his own blood.

I'm wondering if your question is based on something intimate that you need reasoning to... it's a personal decision if you choose to discuss this as a relevant conversation and not cr** as you say... that being said, it's called gnosticism and did exist. If you can push religion aside, as it has nothing to do with it, and on a educational path, I highly recommend reading. I own an extensive collection and contrary to popular belief, it is not a matter of opinion, it's a matter of choice and has stemmed, thanks to The DaVinci Code. Is that why you asked? It's an old question, most definitely debated, heated and controversial. Logic tells us that we have a mind, so we use it. Unfortunately we have too many so-called overpayed specialists who know nothing about what they are researching- they rely on hypothesy.
Don't be afraid to ask questions; it is what makes us unique and in thelong run, comfortable. Thanks for the question and giving me an opportunity to share my views.
The gospel of mary and philip are extremely important reads; if you're serious, get those and read, then reread, you'll be amazed at what you already know to be true. I own both.

Nobody knows really what kind of relationship they had. Nowadays there is a theory that they were secretly married and I think it could be a possibility because Jesus had a body exactly the same as ours, he went to the toilet (sorry christians) and had thirst and need for food, why would he not have sexual need too. If he was to get married he had to do it secretly if he wanted to protect his wife and child as He knew what was coming in his life. And would the fact that he married diminish His greatness???? I doubt it. Whether he was married or not He was great, his soul, his mind his everything was superior to us humans even though his body was the same as ours.

I think Mary Madeline was the first woman that Jesus saved. He forgive her sins many times over. Mary was the first one at His grave on Easter morning. And the first one to know that Jesus had that the grave could not hold him! Jesus could have appeared to anyone, but showed the truth to her fist.I fell that Mary had the most faith.

it is possible that the men who decided which books to include in the bible and which to leave out, may have deliberately left out anything that hinted at a bond between the two, to discourage the pagan religions who were goddess oriented and get them to convert to christianity. male domination in the church was promoted long after jesus. who knows. but as for the theory of children, seems like that would have been hard to suppress. don't know.

She was a faithful follower who did much to further the work of spreading the Kingdom news and he, no doubt, had much love and respect for her in this regard but nothing more--nothing improper. He was perfect and without sin--otherwise there would have been no value in his sacrifice and the Bible tells us that God accepted it.

howdy ravi, i'm of the opinion that he did marry Mary Magdalene. Do you undergo in techniques that wedding ceremony social gathering at Cana interior the Galilee? it is in John financial disaster 2. in case you study it intently, you will get the message that it replaced into to have fun Jesus' wedding ceremony with the Magdalene. think of of the host. None however the host is the single that supplies orders around, and Mary, the mummy of Jesus replaced into the single at that wedding ceremony. Who could be sure the travelers had adequate wine to maintain the revelry going? The host and Jesus took care of that. it extremely is a notably sturdy data. as though the above data isn't adequate, right here is yet another one: quickly after the marriage Jesus exceeded to stay in Bethany with the kinfolk of Mary Magdalene, Martha her sister and Lazarus her brother. in case you pay close interest, you will see that each and every time Jesus back from his missionary journeys, he could record to Bethany. for sure to his spouse. purely one extra so as that any doubt on your techniques be erased: Jesus replaced right into a Rabbi and called by that call many situations. A Rabbi at that evaluate Israel could desire to no longer be a single guy. Even today. A single guy can end his analyze yet he's in no way ordained a Rabbi until ultimately he gets married. That wedding ceremony social gathering in Cana, occurred on the 0.33 day after Jesus baptism by John the Baptist interior the Jordan river. The baptism and quickly later on, the marriage, have been the outstanding steps earlier Jesus began his Ministry as a Rabbi.

They were close friends.
If she was married to Jesus, it would be in the Bible. But it is not in the Bible. And NOWHERE in trutsted historical documents.

He loved her and cared about her, not like other men who used her, if I understand it correctly.
