I did graduate college in 2003 with 2 degrees (economics/management) but in the year 2000 i was hired part time with a job that paid me 15.00 hr.....i could've went full time in 2000 and stuck with the job till i got laid off or fired or whatever but i insisted to continue college, i graduated in 2003 and went job searching, i found lousy sales jobs, commission jobs, jobs that really didn't have a schedule, it felt like nothing is out there for me and i found out that america is too protective of giving someone that doesn't have connections a job, so i continued working part time with this job for 2 years while working other senseless "career" jobs part time as well, i went full time at the job i've been doing in 2005 and now i look back and say why did i go to college, just to be 11k in the hole and none of my professors spoke clear english, am i giving money out to people that i can't understand hearing, how can somebody i can't understand hearing teach me anything, i now make 22.19

I saw part of a program last night on the subject of abortion. I've always believed that a woman should have the right to choose what happens to her body, but seeing some of the images of late abortions shocked me. I still believe it's a woman's right to choose, but should late terminations be banned? In the UK they can be performed up to the (someone correct me if I'm wrong) 24th week of pregnancy, should this be reduced? And if so, to what? Should 12 or less weeks be the maximum? Surely that's plenty of time to decide whether or not to go ahead with a pregnancy?
I still believe abortion is a woman's choice, and I don't advocate banning it completely. If it's going to happen it's needs to happen safely and legally.

As a HR manager I hire & fire lot's of people. I have seen many trends and attitudes from employees over the years and I have like many HR people I have experienced many situations that you can't help but notice. I have hired 9 African Americans in the past 6 years, numerous people of all other races and to be perfectly honest it has been "MY" experience they make the worse employees on all levels. Out of the nine 5 were fired for not coming to work, 3 arrested and one sued (unsuccessfully) our company for discrimination. We employee around 275 people in our facility and the average pay is $16.50 hr for entry level postions, may earn well over $25hr. They apply and come completly unprepared, they don't dress in a professional manner nor do they speak in a clear business-like manner. They pull up in a loud (music) car, baggy pants with chains hanging off their necks with a bad attitude.

This is my experience....what's been yours?
