what makes you different from the guy next door? if you were to describe yourself to someone who's seen it all... what words would you use? the good and the bad - you name it! how different are you really from the rest of us?

I was hanging out at a bar with some friends from my volleyball team last night and someone suggested this concept. Basically it would be a volleyball-thermed bar or restaurant with waitresses in volleyball uniforms (jersey or tank top and spandex shorts)--similar to Hooters but with a more specific theme. The uniform wouldn't be any more revealing than a standard college volleyball uniform--basically the waitresses would look like any chick you might see at the gym.

If something like this were to exist, would you visit it regularly?

Should it be a restaurant/bar or just a bar? Should it offer only a vball atmosphere or should it have courts and leagues?

Women, would you waitress there? Would you be comfortable in the uniform? Do you currently play vball or have you in the past?

Sorry, but we have no plans to create this right now, it was just a crazy discussion topic. :)

i think there are stereotypes for a reason and they help people decide what might be potentially helpful or hazardous. I like agree with most of them and find them useful to fit into my schema of how things work. Why are people always trying to break down stereotypes when most of them are accurate for most populations?

I don't want to be buddy-buddy, just to get along w/them. I treat them nicely. But is there anything specific that might help? Ladies.......Why is it whenever a guy has something to say to your face or questions your snotty attitude, why is it "that guy's crazy" or "needs help"? I don't! But this is what my best friend told me my sister is saying about me.

According to my friend, she is also telling, even more than one neighboring town! That I am prostituting myself over the internet!

I think people are believing that, cause I am finding it very hard to get service in any of these stores.

And when I order food, I have found some strange stuff in it.

I COMPLETELY agree with Mr. Jim Rome. Normally I will criticize people who need to make better choices and that nothing good happens at bars, in the middle of the night. But this is different, it was New Year's and most people probably were partying or at some bar. This player WAS trying to make good choices, he hired a limo driver for after a long night, is the young father of two young children, and warns other young people not to be associated with gangs. This is less a football issue as it is an American issue. A VERBAL altercation took place and he was killed in a drive by shooting. How has society gotten to the point that good people are MURDURED over disrespectful comments.

What can WE do to stop this.
