Why do people use masculine terms in phrases such as "oh man" or "oh boy" why not feminine terms?

My friend today was wondering why we always use masculine terms for phrases like "oh man" or "oh boy." she thinks it's weird. i was wondering why we dont use feminine terms for things like that?

Because the utterances "oh man" and oh boy" are usually spoken after something gets totally screwed up. And which of the sexes is usually more responsible for that??? Enough said!

When I think of "Chicago Style Politics" I immediately think of a level of unethical and criminal activity designed to get elected or getting your guy elected at all cost while destroying your opponent and other along the way. That would include voter fraud, bribery, lying, stealing, rigging elections, dirty electioneering tricks, spying, bugging, cronyism with the unions and possible mafia involvement, political favors, and the thirst for sheer power.

i say oh boy or oh man when bad stuff happens, the reasoning for that is becauz boys/men are bad things that happened lol!
