//you can find out anything you need, book hols, chat to your mates and family. It is a whole world out there.\\

I've kind of done all that though, maybe its the human side thats missing? you know siiting in a room talking to real people instead of typing to a screen.

Stop going to the same places! Only use for important and needed research and inquiries. Also great for business and education. Online education! You fell into a trap! Now get some help and understand that it's not all as you say it is! This is great technology and I don't want you to miss out on it's benefits for you and everyone else with access! Consider yourself fortunate while there are many without this luxury and convenience of owning a computer of any kind.

The internet is what you make of it. You need to approach it with specific purposes. It is an information highway, like a highway you have to avoid other traffic, with the internet you have to try and avoid rude things and rubbish.

I have always found it resourceful and informative.

You need to see rather than look, as you need to listen rather than hear.

Approach with caution and care and you will find it rewarding.

Yeah, guess you'll just have to take the next exit.

Problem is, in the meantime the libraries got rid of all the books.

no, you don't have to continue with it if you don't want to. But at the same time, you could take whats' good about it, instead of what's bad.
