Mythology & Folklore - May 2007

The reason why I ask is because it is very interesting to note that when I studied Greek Mythology, and Egyptian civilization in 6th and 7th grade, we were taught that the religious believes of those people were myths. When in reality the deities of their time were just as real to them as the god or gods of today are real to the people who believe in them. I'm not asking this on what you believe on personal level but rather when does society decide what is real and what isn't

My question is in reference to Jacob Wetterling, the 11 year old boy who was kidnapped from St.Joseph Minnesota on his way back from a tom thumb. I was wondering if that tom thumb is still open, or if somethiing else has opened up in its place?

I just found a brown bat living in my garage are there and wifetales or folklore you know about finding a bat in your home? Thanks in advance for any info. Oh and by the way we have decided to let it stay there as it doesn't seem to be hurting anything.

Yesterday I did the bloody mary, i didnt see a person at all, i saw a drink, i saw the drink Bloody Mary in the mirror, im not sure why, but wasnt bloody mary suposed to be a person?

I had a dream that I was in a bedroom that I didnt recognise. It had blood red drapes and wall hangings, and there was a permenant breeze making them sway. I was tied up somehow (my arms I think). The bed was directly in the centre of the room.To my right the wall was not there, instead there was some kind of other world, not evil looking but not heavenly either, just weird trees, colours etc. To my left was a very attractive man, dark hair, dark skin, almost oriental looking in some ways. He wanted to dance, he wasnt saying anything to me but somehow I knew he wanted to dance?
Then when I stood close to him, i looked in his eyes and knew he was satan.

Does anyone know anything about dreams? this one has stuck with me and I remember it so clearly, almost as if it happened. It has not faded over time.

After seeing movies and reading books I am strongly convinced that we are just not told something that is known and that is there. I know that government probably know that aliens exist or leastthey know more that they tell us. I am wondering why,why,why? What is the reason for which we are not told the truth?

I am a big on soul mates and love at first sight. I think that everyone has a person that they were made to make happy. Me and my boyfriend have been together for 1 year and a half. He has told me he loves me and i love him very deeply! We have been having problems with him and this other girl, but he says he loves me, just not as much as he used to. I am one of those people that will just randomly call him to say hi, or buy a bunch of junk food, and have a junk food picnic. He is not like that at all, he does not suprise me or anything like that. He is very antisocial, but i like that cause i get him to myself. He is social to the people he knows and is shy. I am shy and very social, i am the kind of person that will go up to a guy and tell him he is hot. I had to make the first move in the start, but forget my ranting. Do you think we are soul mates, he does not believe in that, but i am like one of those fairy tale, romantic believers, oh and he recently told me that i act childish.

It started 5 months ago and now I cannot stop. I crave this stuff and even dream about how to eat it. I prefer my starch cold and with Coke or ginger ale. My family is livid and want me to stop. I have done research on the starch and have gone great lengths to obtain it. My supply is less than a mile away and when I go into the store they know what I need. Yesterday the craving was so bad that I was literally thinking about counting pennies to purchase a box. What is wrong with me?
