I'm doing a speech about finding a magic genie lamp which grants me 3 wishes, but i can only use the three wishes to benefit others: Family, poverty, environment, etc. The thing is I need to tell where i got/found the magic genie lamp. Any ideas?

How about this:
‘I cross this street every day going to school but it was the first time I noticed there was a store there. Intrigued I walked over and found my self staring at the most beautiful lamp ever seen……’ and build your story.
If you want to add more magic to it you can close by saying:
'The next morning the store disappeared' or something like this.

You found the magic lamp on your travel in the Saudi Arabian desert... As you were walking along a path the earth gave out from under you and when you re-awaken you found yourself in a cave and after your head cleared you could hear people calling you from above and when you turned on your flash light to check your surrounding you eye caught a small reflection off of and object which turned out to be the lamp that your research team were looking for................................

You were messing around in an old abandoned building....ignoring the warning signs everywhere...and when you stepped inside the floorboards began to give way...when you fell through the floor and into the basement....and as you were trying to crawl out you knocked out a piece of wall....and something shiny fell out...curious, you went to go check it out...when you picked it up you saw that there were strange symbols on the side, but it was too dirty to read...so you rubbed the dirt off w/ your sleeve and then poof! omg genie.

what about getting lost in an Arabic neighborhood. You're looking around and you find a little gift shop tucked away in an alley. You go inside to look around and the shop keeper gives you a rusty old lamp for free.
