What are some good sites on ghosts, paranormal, hauntings?

I have had some problems with unexplained entities and would like to find a site with legitimate information, and maybe people that I can discuss it with.

Ghost hunting societies and groups tend to be very fake, but a place of individuals with individual motives probably leaves better odds.

Have you ever heard that some trbes or some race cannot eat certai animal because their ancestor has made a?

Commandments with that animal and if there descendent eat them they will have an allergic reaction. The story goes where by this animal either (fish, terrapin, turtle and etc) save them from drowning and in return they vow that his descended will not eat those animal as an appreciation for they help. Because in my country some Chinese descendent cannot eat certain fish because they ancestor has made commandments with that fish. Have you ever heard this kind of story in your country?

I was born on the 23rd, what signifigance does that hold if I'm wiccan?

I just read somebody else's answer to a 23 question. Dr. Dave said that 2/3 is the root of evil 666. I try to be a good person but always feel like being on the darker side of things. Since I'm just getting into witchcraft (reading up on it) I was wondering if this number is suppose to lead me to my destination, as in light or dark?

ok, so couldnt help overhearing these ladies talking near me on the bus...one lady was telling the other that they should ban pictures of Cupid. she said that it promoted child porn, what with all the naked cherubic babies. i think she's being a bit too critical...what do you guys think of it?

Why do people put steak or meat on wounds or bruises?

I've seen this numerous times in movies. What is the significance of this? Someone please give an answer that has some type of historical concept to it not just cuz they didn't have ice. I know that this may be something that was more common over 50 years ago.
