I just read somebody else's answer to a 23 question. Dr. Dave said that 2/3 is the root of evil 666. I try to be a good person but always feel like being on the darker side of things. Since I'm just getting into witchcraft (reading up on it) I was wondering if this number is suppose to lead me to my destination, as in light or dark?

Honestly that is a load of crap. The only reason they have the number 666 as a bad number is they already had a good number 7 because god rested on the seventh day. So really there is no conection between 23, 666, and evil

To find your Life Path number (with numerology) you need all of the numbers accociated with your birth. say 2-4-1983 Add them together 2+4+1+9+8+3=27 2+7= 9 so your Life Path Number would be Nine.
It has nothing to do with "the devil" or evil.

Gematria... has been pretty much associated with the discovery of the "man" who has the number "666". "here be wisdom" according to christians your blind if your not christian, so the wisdom would be within the bible, and it was wrote in hebrew, each hebrew character of their alphabet has a number representation... blah blah blah

As for your birthday having anything to do with Wicca, some wiccans practice astrology, thats about all I can think of.

The whole "23" thing is only as powerful as you allow it to be. Don't worry about it!
If you're interested in practicing wicca, the creed is "And ye harm none, do what thou wilst." If you go outside of that, it isn't wicca anymore and it's just plain old witchcraft. Wicca is the way of the light and the good. Trust me, it's much better to stick to that route. If you do "bad" magic, in order to hurt someone, then it's really bad for you. All "evil" deeds come back to you threefold, whether it's via magic or not, so just keep that in mind...

I think it would hold more siginificance if you were a discordian than a wiccan. 23 is not the root of all evil...and wiccans are not evil... your personal numerology has alot more to consider than just the day of the month you were born on.

i have been involved with wicca for over 10 years, i have NEVER heard that people born on the 23rd were any different from those born on the 1rst,2nd, or 3rd...etc. In wicca all that will ever truly matter is your intentions, your will, and your abililty to be leader instead of a follower.

No, not really. If you like darkness, go for it. I like to dilly dally in both, because I can't stand the "Harm thee none!!" dogma a lot of "witches" use these days...Not like I'm irresponsible, though. Also, 666 is actually the number of the talisman of the Sun. 616 is the actual number of the Beast. :)

As a Wiccan, you should know better than to believe in any reference to "666" since it has a correlation to Satan, whom we as Wiccans do not believe in.
