To me, flowers are life's beauty...they encourage, inspire, comfort, express love, show sympathy, offer friendship, celebrate memories, join us in milestones and add to just about anything else that one may dream of....they are our physical "tie" to the earth, from whence we all came....and yet, flowers eventually wilt, fade away and die...thus, returning to the earth, as we, too, all do in time..so, the significance of flowers are truly intertwined with us all

I believe flowers are extremely significant. Sadly though, not many people take the time to "stop and smell the roses" LOL. Flowers are one of the most beautiful things that we can see on a daily basis. There are so many unique types, it is amazing. I actually have a tattoo of two Calla Lilies on my back, and to me it has an incredibly significant meaning.

Flowers generally have a certain meaning to them as well, red roses symbolize love, sunflowers and happiness. Most of them have a very symbolic meaning in our society.
