I read about this legend when I was kid. A town/village back at the beginning of America that the entire population vanished. There was meals on tables and everything but no people. They found a log or tree or something with part of a work or initials carved in it. Does anyone remember what the town was called or recognise this legend? It's on the tip of my tongue, I just can't remember it.

I understand that not all people have them, and I don't know if many notice.
But right before your inner elbo, in that soft underside of our (well, some) upper forearms, are these horizontal indentations. Their very faint, and are almost invisible.
Some have it on only one arm, other on both, some on none.

I've only heard it being aknowledged by some of my asian friends, who say that there's a legend in some places in China that says if you have one dip, it means you can hear ghosts, and two mean you can see them.

Now whether or not that's true, I still would like to know if anybody knows it's name, purpose, or function. Maybe even more mythology.

Got two really cool horseshoes today from my grandmom's house. I'm told if I hang them upside down at the door way, it will mean good luck. If I don't, I guess I'll have bad luck? (Not holding too much stock in the shoes, but I can use all the help I can get... hahaha!)

Anyone know what the "tradition" is? Upside down or what?

My home gurl told me that in her dream she was in this house sittin on the couch wen she looked up there was this guy but his face was a blur like those people that come out in the news and dont want there face to be shown. He sat next to her and said "I wanna do it" she said "no i don't feel like it" then the dude rapes her.

My friend is single can this mean anythin or did she just had a nightmare?
