I got scared one night, when I saw what happened to someone, but now I feel like something is missing in my life.

yes, I asked god to take it away, when I got scared. I saw some bad things, and I am very sensitive, and what can I do with that gift anyways, practically nothing. Sometimes it's helpful, like when I told my best friend (in detail) that her husband was cheating on her, and she said no he wasn't but I was right about everything including her name.

Just remember to open your mind up before you go to sleep. Tell you subconscious to allow everything. I turned off everything and i never want it back, but i know I'm only filtering it, not keeping it from ever reaching me again. Maybe you could ask God (If your religious in that way) to grant it back, since that's how a lot of people get rid of their unwanted psychic abilities in the first place. Good luck.

Don't worry that's about usual when it happens. you have temporarily closed the door on them out of fear.they can be brought back slowly. through meditation and prayer. you just have to get past the primitive scared person keep in the back of your mind that's blocking the flow of this type of spiritual gift.
Try this as a prayer to help get them back.

When you ask your Spirit guides to stop giving you something, It is usually hard to talk them into giving it back to you. You would be best to ask them nicely and genuinely and maybe be sure that you want it. They won't give you anything you can't handle, but they might get there feelings hurt sort of speak if they go through the trouble of giving you something and you reject it. God bless
