This was a newspaper anagram I could not solve. When I saw the solution the following day, I referred to a Collins Concise, with no luck. I've never heard of it and I'm curious. Tanx!

I read a comment on a message board once where this guy from Jordan speaks Urdu. I don't know if he's a native or from India/Pakistan/other neighbouring countries, thus the question.

I understand their use for Japanese name suffixes (e.g. Ryu-kun). But what about other instances? (I can't come up with any now, sorry). Any ideas? I have a hunch it's related to romanisation discrepancies (or changes)...

Is it "soo"? What's the difference between it and Tsu or Soo? Also, there's this author by the name of Jung Chang. I'm surprised that her name's pronounced "yoong." Is this a dialectic pronunciation?

Note: I have some basic knowledge of Mandarin; and the name's not that common here in Malaysia, I think.

My daughter invited a little girl to her birthday party that doesn't speak very much English. I would like to know how to spell/write "thank you for the tea set". Can you help? The little girl is picking up English quickly for a pre-schooler and sharing some word with her fellow class mates. I thought it would be nice for my daughter to return the jester in her language. I would like to have regular teIephone conversations for me to learn and improve my German. I would be willing to pay modest amount for this, as I am learning and wouldn't expect anyone to do this for free......I am aware that speaking to a language learner is sometimes tedious for the fluent person! Thanks, Danny
