I'm 15 years old and have been seeing this one girl for about a week now...I want to get her something for valentines day, but since it's not really a serious long-term relationship yet, I'm not sure what to get for her... does anyone have some good gift ideas?

My husband and I have recently taken on the responsibility of bringing in my mother to live with us due to a recent illness. He has been so very supportive and I really want to show him my appreciation but I unfortunatly can not make it as private as I would like. Yes, we do have our own bedroom and bathroom, but everything is not about sex, so that isn't the answer I'm looking for. I'd like something special to show him how much I love him and appreciate the TLC he has shown my Mom as well as me over this past month.

for Valentine's Day? My hubby wants to know what I want. We discussed going in together and buying each other this big bookshelf we fell in love with, but is out of our price range normally. Should we do that or should I ask for another gift, like jewelry and buy him some electronic gadget or ipod accessory? If you have any gift ideas for me or him feel free to share. I just feel like hearing everyone's opinions. Thanks.

Last year, I got him Burberry Brit for him and a nice wallet from Fossil, which he was in desperate need of. Typical gifts, I know...So I'm trying to come up with something more special this year. He loves classic rock...Some favorite bands of his are Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, etc. He also likes the Red Hot Chili Peppers, System Of A Down, etc. This past Christmas, I got him a dart board (he loves darts) and 2 really nice sets of darts, a book he wanted (he loves to read), Led Zeppelin's Greatest Hits, and Pink Floyd's Greatest Hits. He is also very much a gamer (RPG), but it seems like he has every game that he wants that is out currently. His favorite systems are PS2 and PSP, so if anyone has any suggestions for good RPG's, that would be great also!

By the way, he is 20 years old

And he is the type of guy that would appreciate ANYTHING that I got him :)

As Valentine's day is coming, I would like to do something very romantic and unexpected for my fiancee. Can you remember of events that made you gasp with surprise and happiness? (Something more unusual that candle-lit dinner, long romantic walk or star gazing). Please share your memories or imagination!!! Thanks.

It's an interesting question. Jewellery is probably going to be one of the most common answers, in the form of bracelets, rings and chains, but for someone with less money to spend... An inexpensive but nevertheless sweet and lasting way to tell that special guy "I love you". (He's not the cuddly type, either.)

For me, it is love. Without love, it could be World War 1000 by now.

Does Valentines Day hold significance or we succumb to the market-oriented trend which is followed by the youth mindlessly?

I think something romantic would be lovely, but I know it's highly unlikely.

And frankly, I'd be happy if my husband would just do a load of laundry or something.

How about you? What surprises do you hope your sweetie has for you?

I know this guy since 5th grade. We were together for a while. Since we hit middle school we stop talking and went different ways. and I havent talk to him for like about 4 or 5 years. Finally, I met him at a party. We started to talk and dance. And Im falling for him again. Since Valentine's Day is coming up I want to give him something but I dont know what? But also I have a feeling that he might not take the gift cause he has a girlfriend. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

We have a local barber who does AMAZING old fashioned shaves...he used to do the Rat Pack! Anyway...my boyfriend has everything and has the money to buy anything he wants...I don't. I've heard from a couple men that this is awesome but I wanted to find out from other men if it's a good idea or something that is kinda scary that some guys wouldn't be into (having a sharp blade in the hands of someone else)...Thanks!

My husband just lost his job and I am not working right now. He feels so bad about the whole situation and we have NO money to spend on anything, especially gifts for Valentine's Day. I want to do something special for his, especially in light of the whole situation right now. Any ideas for something I can do or give him that will not cost me anything? Thanks!
