My husband just lost his job and I am not working right now. He feels so bad about the whole situation and we have NO money to spend on anything, especially gifts for Valentine's Day. I want to do something special for his, especially in light of the whole situation right now. Any ideas for something I can do or give him that will not cost me anything? Thanks!

I agree with the first few ladies, uh, how to put this delicately, a heart shaped hair cut?

I am so sorry to hear about your husband losing his job. I too lost my job last year, and this Christmas did not have any money to spend. I put a big smile on my face and made my fiance a present-it was a X-mas decoration with a picture of us on it. I don´t know if it was his favorite present, but it represented to me what is really important in this life-a job does not hug you, or love you, or keep you warm at night, but your husband probably does all of these things for you.

If you have a special talent, i.e. cooking, or knitting, or sewing, do this for him. He will love it.

If you ever have a chance see the movie, Gift of the Majai.

Plan the evening out. His favorite meal with candlelight to set the mood. Guys like the royal treatment too.
Run him a hot bubble bath. Wash his back and give him a massage afterwards with baby oil. Don't for get his feet. U know what comes next.

Write him a heart-felt letter on how much you love him and how you'll be OK as you vowed to love him for better or worse. The best gifts come from the heart anyway and don't cost a dime!!

For the first valentines day that my boyfriend and i were together for, I made coupons.
~ Breakfast in bed
~ Any fantasy that you desire
~ One Wish
~ Romantic Dinner for 2
~ 30 minute massage with lotion

etc.. He loved it and still talks about it. This will be our 4th valentines day together and I am thinking about doing it again.

Make him a coupon book of things you'll do for him in bed (and I don't mean sleeping or changing the sheets).
