My husband and I have recently taken on the responsibility of bringing in my mother to live with us due to a recent illness. He has been so very supportive and I really want to show him my appreciation but I unfortunatly can not make it as private as I would like. Yes, we do have our own bedroom and bathroom, but everything is not about sex, so that isn't the answer I'm looking for. I'd like something special to show him how much I love him and appreciate the TLC he has shown my Mom as well as me over this past month.

what does he like to do? sports? give him the go ahead to go to his favourite teams next game. or go with his buddies golfing, or
take him out for a really nice dinner.
i know what you mean and i know my answer doesn't cut it, but i think just curling up with him and telling him you appreciate his support and love is the best thing.

go to dinner, movies, hell let him go out and do what he wants for V-Day. BUt him that one thing he's been talking about for months. you could surprise him at work and take him out for a nice lunch or something

Why don't you go away for the night to some fancy hotel. That way you will be able to focus all of your attention on him.
