Definitely if you are thinking gifting along those lines. Best friends can be a great help.

not a good idea. I know you may be embarressed to go alone, but there are plenty of guy's by themself at Victoria Secret. Now you can ask her best friend what size she wears, if you don't know, and depending on your age, trust me girls and women love Victoria Secret, and she can always exchange it if you get a gift receipt from any store. I went with my son to pick out his girlfriends six month gift, and we ended-up and the jewelery store that I have shopped at. He had the money, and it worked out. I know it's easy to take the best friend, but it sounds like you may be having doubts. trust your instinct! I from a womens stand point will tell you, it's never a good idea to take her bestfriend to help you choose, most women would rather have her boyfriend choose, and it's for her. esp. lingerie or a dress. good-luck!

my ex-boyfriend did this once and all I could think of was that the gift wasn't really his idea and therefore it didn't mean anything to me.
Go buy whatever it is yourself. A sale's clerk can always help you, that's their job.

I think it's o.k. to ask her opinion, but you run a high risk of someone out there seeing the two of you together and boy, could that be trouble!

if it's jewelry, take her along. if it's underwear, then that would be a little awkward. "so, how'd you like the underwear ______ picked out for you?". see? get her something you think she'd like. if you know her, it should be easy. just get a gift receipt, just in case.

NO! She will find out and then think that you don't know her well enough to cater for her needs. Even if it doesn't fit it is your thought that counts NOT her g/fs

I think it's best if you buy her something yourself - it's more romantic... Why would you want your woman to feel you're not the one who knows her best? :-P

Holy Carp, NO!
Just take my word for it.
Use your own mind on this one. Really.
You don't need her help.
