A little stuffed animal holding a heart
Even chocolates and a rose...
Also a watch, clothes, things like that.
But what counts most is the gift of love every day, day in day out, thick and thin.
You could ask him if there is anything he has been wanting, and if so, then (ahem) if you can afford it, you can combine that with one small romantic token.

How about a book of "Get out of the DogHouse free" vouchers! And/ Or a book of Brownie Points, so he can give you some positive feed back once in a while!
Put some effort into it, you obviously have a computer, design something on the paint programme and print a few copies out.
If you want to spend a little more money, have his favourite meal delivered, do up the living room to set the mood, get some sexy lingerie and give him a lap-dance. Don't go any further than you feel comfortable with though.

I'm not sure how colse the 2 of you are but I've been with my bf for the same amount of time almost and we're ery close and totally in love. I'm getting him an astrology present which shows your compatibility based on both of your time and dates of birth. I'm planning on making it into a hand made card typ thing so that it's very personal! Depends what your blokles like tho!!
Good Luck :)

Hi, I know you wanted guys to answer this but I think you should do something together on Valentines day. You don't have to buy him a gift as such, you could give him an 'experience'.
I was thinking about taking my boyfriend to London for the day and letting him choose what to do. Always think its easier that way - you haven't got to worry too much about buying the perfect gift.
Hope this helps

it really depends on how much you want to spend on him...you could make some vouchers for things like a massage, striptease, picnic, etc which won't cost you anything and you can have a lot of fun making the vouchers!
if you wanted to spend some more money, maybe buy tickets to go and see his favourite comedian or a band - it's something you can do together and rather than buying junk, it's a memory that will last forever!

hi, wel i have the whole evening planned lol
i have bought some sexy underwear, which i will be wearing when he gets in from work and waiting for him with a meal that i have prepared,
have a bath ready for him, let him relax, candles everywhere
then wait for him in the bedroom, with some sexy moody love songs in the background, and give him a massage with some warming passion fruit oil from ann summers, and let the night take you .........
i think that doing something for him will say far more than any gimmeky teddy or gift
do something you will remember forever. that will never run out unlike aftershave or chocs

I would love to get a book, especially something from an author like Jim Corbett or Carl Sagan.
I would suggest a guys' book, with adventure and discovery.

What material thing would you really like to see him wear or have? Valentine's is ultimately a lovers holiday so get him something that will turn you on. Trust me if you're amorous he'll be happy.

Just like you'd want something girly (purfume, chocs etc), try something blokey, but depends on the age.
Is he a Bookworm? try one of those interesting fact books from Mythbusters (bunch of sciencey guys that blow things up), "Does Anything Eat Wasps"? or if he has a dry sense of humour, Jeremy Clarkson
Or for a DVD something like Ray Myers (that bush survival bloke on BBC).
Fav cologne (bit intimate though)
Unless he has a particular artist or title in mind, steer away from CD's (we guys can be a bit picky about that stuff)
Good luck and hope he puts up for a swanky dinner for you somewhere!
