I heard that Irish Americans say that it is bad to wear orange on St. Patty's day? Is this true? If so why? I heard this last night, and if it is true I am really curious!

Well, I hate it, because i'm a kid, and for kids, (unless u are Irish or something) the only thing you do is wear green. If u don't wear green, u get pinched, and HARD!!
If you are an adult, u probably love st.patty's day because of the partying at bars and green nachos and drinks.

OK, My daughter's snak day is March 16th. She goes to a Catholic school, and most of her classmates gave up sweets. So, what can I bring, that isnt sweet. I would like to do something that has something to do with St. Patricks Day. But not sweet. Oh and remember Good Friday too. so meat and cheese is out. hmmmm, Im confused. any suggestions?

I remember dyeing the beer green and all of us had green lips for days, the poor guys...we gals just wore dark lipstick.
