OK, My daughter's snak day is March 16th. She goes to a Catholic school, and most of her classmates gave up sweets. So, what can I bring, that isnt sweet. I would like to do something that has something to do with St. Patricks Day. But not sweet. Oh and remember Good Friday too. so meat and cheese is out. hmmmm, Im confused. any suggestions?

Veggie tray with celery and green peppers and ranch dressing/dips. Or green apples with a cream cheese dip, if that wouldn't be too sweet!

Corned beef and cabbage is not sweet. Maybe you could make little veggie sandwiches with those little rye breads (you can find those for appetizers in the bread section). Make some deviled eggs or cabbage soup with potatoes. Make some of those twice baked potatoes (with sour cream and chives - maybe a little cheese). Look on the website below for recipe ideas and remove the meat or sweets from the ingredients.

Of course it has to be green: jello jigglers aren't too sweet, green bagles with cream cheese is a good snack, or green milkshakes made with fat free frozen yogurt and skim milk

Banana muffins, fruit cocktail, fish crackers with cheese!! I run a daycare, these are the ultimate healthy kiddie foods!!

lucky charms? you could eat them plain or with milk and you could even add some green food coloring to some milk if you wanted to bring that.
