Here's a cool trick for finding an "opposite" color: stare at something of the color in good light for about 30 seconds to a minute, then turn your eyes to a white wall or piece of paper. You'll automatically "see" the reverse as a shadow image. This is sort of a backlash effect. If you stare at something green, you'll see red.

Saturated green ? The opposite is vivid red, like the Swiss flag.
Dark green opposite light Red. Light green opposite dark red.
Yellowish green opposite purplish-red.
Bluish green opposite orange-red.

there is no opposite of green , there are three primary colors Red,yellow and blue. red and yellow is orange,red and blue is purple and yellow and blue is green
