Many people call in sick or take off anyway and nobody wants to be at work.

If Congress wants to keep the # of holidays at 10 they could demote President's Day or Columbus Day.

I wanted a huge party for my birthday, because my other partys have been really boring. ( My party last year was a hike!) So, I really wanted a big party this year. My parents said that was fine, so I planned a huge party and told my friends about it, however a few days ago my mom cut my party buget in more then half! Do you think this is fair? I don't. It would be different if i haven't spent 2 MONTHS planning and told my friends about it! What do I do? Do you think it is fair???

Im headed to Europe in March and was thinking about going to Ireland for St. Patricks day. Than I began to wonder if they really celebrated it or if it was just some crazy drunken holiday Americans had invented.

Yes I know about how St. Patrick got all the snakes out of Ireland, I just want to know if its as big for actual Irish as it is for Irish Americans.
