Halloween

We're desparately seeking ideas for costumes for our group! Again, we're 4 guys and 2 girls, all in our mid-twenties.

Ideally, we're looking for something really funny, or really relavant to current events or pop-culture.

My friend has a party to go to for halloween this year and has to dress up. He is 24 so nothing kidish. I suggested something funny to create a laugh but I'm horrible with ideas. So what are yours?

Background info: my son 11 and hi friends (4 girls and 3 other boys) are going trick-or-treating as old-fashond individuals. he and a girl (who I think is the cutest girl in the bunch) wanted to switch roles and we saw no probblem with this. We being myself and the girls Mother.
And to that mater I haven't a clue to the world about how to dress him, or for that matter what to dress him in, if any one can help I need to know where to find the sutable apparel, or patterns, or advice if you have done something to this sort before.

My family and I are attending a Halloween party soon, and we would like to attend as a group. Are there any unique group costume ideas we could use?

My family consists of:

1 male (my dad)
4 females (my mom, me, and my sisters)

I am currently 14 years old, and my two sisters are 12 and 4.

We have already considered a few ideas, such as PacMan, Mrs. Pacman and the ghosts; Blue Men Group; Crayons; etc.

We have also considered going as the Fantanas (Fanta, Fanta! Don't you wanta?) but are at a loss for what my dad will be.
