I am finding it hard to exspress how I am really feeling. I have had a crush on a woman for a while now(she is also into woman). I finally open up and said I would like to get to gether with her some time. but I didn't mention any of my true feelings. I don't understand why I can exspess my feelings to the one's I love most.

I'm 24 and a lesbian. The thing is I'm not out to anyone who really matters. I've never been out on a date or even kissed anyone. I have family obligations and a job that keep me busy. How will I ever find love if I keep hiding myself away from the world? The thing that bothers me the most is I'm afraid to dissapoint anyone or let them down.

I'm not hating lesbians or bisexuals, so please don't reply as if I'm am. If this is really who you feel your are and live this lifestyle more power to you, I'm not trying to bash anyone's sexual orientation, but seems like it's becoming a trendy thing to do with the younger women now-a-days. I say this is because a lot of my younger female friends and just or younger females in general seem to get with other females not because they really want to but because everyone else is doing it or to please their man and just show how freaky they can be. I say to each their own, but I'm a hetrosexual female and I couldn't phathom being with another woman sexually, so I can't see ever compromising myself to follow a trend or to please someone else. What's funny to me too is that they think there is something wrong that I only like men. I've had many discussion with them on this and I'm just trying to figure out what's going on with this. So what do you all think?

FTM here. I haven't done any transistion yet in any way, but I'm starting to get depressed and going in public now irritates me, because I look female still. I didn't really even know I was trans (even though I should have known) until about 6 months ago. I go to therapy and that helps... I plan to transistion this coming June. I'm scared and confused, but it's hard to be in public now and I have to go somewhere today and it's really depressing me... Is this a normal feeling about being in public? I mean, I get really ANNOYED and RAGE like. :( I'm not rageful to others, I just feel very angry about myself. and now knowing that i'm trans makes me feel so much more odd in public. I'm kind to others, no one would know I'm so angry at all. Please don't say this is a psyc issiue. I know I'm not a psycho... I cannot pass w/o hormone or surgery so that won't help to just dress like it. Nevermid then... maybe it was a dumb question.

I sometimes go to college wearing Civil War dresses, complete with the corset underneath and petticoats to fill out the large skirt.

I at first got weird looks, but some other girls thought it was cool and wore one of my dresses to school.

Other times, I wore a pair of spandex stretch jeans, thigh high boots and a wench corset (with the shoulder straps). I got a lot of attention from the guys and nothing was said from administration.

Should people be able to wear what ever they want, as long as it's not slutty, trashy, or maybe a little unusual, like a Victorian dress?

My friend and I would like to start a GSA or gay straight alliance, the only problem is that we have a homophobic principal that is threatening any teacher who helps sponsor with losing their Job if they try to take it anywhere. We really want to get this started, is there anything that we can do? We already know that it is protected under the Equal acess acts, but we are kind of lost.

If we don't encourage this evil man to respond to our posts or post any of his own, then he will leave. Then we can get back to what these posts are for; asking questions. I feel badly for any new or old members of yahoo answers who have come here to find information that will help them and instead find hatred and confusion. Lets end this back and forth name calling now!

There has always been the great divide between our genders. There are women who love doors being opened for them and those who feel offended by it.
I do want to say thankyou to the guys who are open minded, thoughtful and galiant (those who open doors, carry heavy things and stand up to give up their seat) and want to say how sorry I am for the times you may have been abused for doing so. As men, you are valued and valuable in a plutonic sense too. I also want to recognise those of you who support equality and further release women into their talents and gifts that may even cause them to be in a place of authority over you. It proves your security.
So now, opinions please... I love to read what you all think.

I think it says to me that the city is thriving. A lack of a gay scene means the place is dead, dying, or in the infant stages of growth.

I recently responded kinda aggressively to a couple of guys. One feels all Australian women are horrible (he used another word) and the other feels that American men have the right to have a superiority complex and that includes the right to take advantage of women. I got a slap on the wrist because I called them idiots.
What are your thoughts and how can we gently educate men like this on the respect we have for ourselves.
By the way, I'm not a passionate feminist, I'm actually pretty traditional in a lot of things to do with marriage and stuff so it's not about women being better (just in case any guys sneak-a-peek at this). It's about respect.
