Two weeks ago we went out to a bar and I met this guy who also has a boyfriend. Anyway, we got to chatting and he got my phone number. The next day when he called my boyfriend answered the phone and gave him the third degree before letting me talk to the guy. We talked for a while and that was it. He called the other day and wanted to hang out and, as my BF works out of town five days a week and I have no one to hang out with but my roommate, he came over and he and my roommate and I watched a movie. My BF called not long ago and I told him the guy was over and he totally flipped out, saying he didn't like the guy (the only time they talked was that one time on the phone) and how it was his place and he didn't want to have him over there. I calmly resigned myself to his side and let him hang up on me. Should I resign myself to not making any other friends? I'm not attracted to this guy and I do feel my BF is a little out of line.

First off, I'm not trying to stereotype my own people, but I've noticed that a lot of black gays and lesbians feel the need for one of them to be 'the man' and the other to be 'the woman' in a relationship. Like I said, it's not all black gays but quite a few of them. I am a black lesbian, but am not like this. The two gay couples I know are like this. My cousin who is gay, is feminine and usually dates masculine men. But now he is dating another fem man and says that his boyfriend is the wife and he is the husband. Why can't they both be the husband? The same with my gay friends, They are lesbians, both fem, but think that one of them has to be referred to as a stud in order for them to be considered gay. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with fem-stud relationships,to each it's own, I'm just saying do they understand that they don't have to take on these roles. if they were to do this naturally, it'd be okay. But they do this because they think it's the only way to do it.

I live in a place that when you drive down the road you must have patience for the many tractors, you first learn to drive in a big ole' rusty truck (trying not to run into the pond) at probably around 10 years old, theirs generally at least 3 old cars up on cement blocks in everybody's yard, every body goes to granny's house after church on Sunday, every where you look their are horses (or cows, or tobacco, or chickens!), everyone is conservative and pretty religious(bible belt baby), you see confederate flags allot (though not a sign of racism now, though some may think that. But more of a sign of the “old ways” and rednecks). A Saturday consists of a day at the pond listening to the Allman Brothers (who cares if you scare off the fish?) and the night time is drinking Jack Daniels (from a bootlegger no less considering we are a dry county) while playin' all the Rolling Stones songs you know. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and ALWAYS consists of these things: grits, fried apples, biscuits, bacon, sausage, eggs, gravy....and more added on. We run our words together often (i.e. ya'll, you'ns,) and say things like “well I reckon that there is a trout and not no bass“ or ”do what?“ instead of just ”what“. We value morals very deeply though don't always abide by them until we are older (sorry but that's the truth or else their wouldn't be no business for the bootleggers!), and when the fair comes to town everything closes (from businesses to the schools) because everyone goes.....and I guess that's all I'll tell you, even though that doesn't even sum it up.

whats so wrong with being HAPPY?!

when did it become cool to be depressed?

sounds to me like teens these days are too lazy to do something about their problems and would rather just settle and wallow in their misery.

what do you think?

There are times when I want to say, "I am gay!"
But then, I kinda hesitated on it. I once intentionally brought up a gay question, such as "how would you know you are straight if you have not experienced it with the same sex?" And I said I wanna experience it. But they thought I was only kidding (But I know most of them accept gay).
How do you come out to your friends?

Okay. Herees the thing. I came out of the closet about a year ago. I am pretty flamy and femmine. But people see that as just trying to prove I'm gay. Why should I try to prove it? I do talk about guys alot around girls and such but they see that as being annoying. Why am I so obsesed with being gay? I can't help it.

karma means activity, what you do you will have back...even though you may not remember or know how, that's how there are so many varieties of things in the world, different color of eyes and different human conditions, and the most amazing thing is that the karma is based on your choices, so where you are now, it's where you chose to be! but because of misuse of our independence we end up entangled as we are. Reiincarnation happens when the soul paid off one karma and needs to get another body to pay off the next karma, due to the activities and desires you performed. Summarizing, in this life you're paying off the karma of your previous life and, at the same time, creating your future karma. this is what happens to everyone. karma means you take birth in the material world. Bhakti yoga cuts this cycle of birth and death in the material world and make your soul able to surpass all spheres of material life and take a birth in a spiritual planet situated in the spiritutal world, where you're gonna find a beautiful guy called God. He's gonna ask you: " why did you leave me?" you'll be embarrased and he'll hug you. You're gonna remember all the crap relationships you had here that made you suffer, alter your ego, or be proud and will see there's nothing compared to the loving relationship you have with that guy up there. So, you'll decide to not fall down again and will live a life of bliss. see you there!

I go to a small unknown HBCU...most of the students here are pretty stupid...the problem is, my philosophy teacher is always accusing me of plagarizing my papers and always accusing me of cheating...my friends told me it's because the white teachers here aren't used to a black male student who is well-read and articulate...I'm tired of him accusing me of cheating and grading me hard on tests just because I know what I'm talking about, and everybody else has the IQ of a screwdriver....

I've corrected his German before... and I was even able to figure out what "pantheism" means just by breaking down the words, "pan", "the" and "ism." He said somebody must've told me, and I said, "No...I just broke the word down to by its Latin terms," and he didn't believe me...how can I convince this guy that there ARE smart black guys and we're not all concerned about rims and white T shirts and Adidas flip-flops???

Cheyenne Central Gay Straight Alliance Mission Statement

The mission of the Central Gay Straight Alliance-hence forth GSA- organization is simple yet important and serious. Today 5 out of every 8 suicide attempters were gay or bisexual -- or put another way, gay and bisexual youth are 13.6 times more likely to have attempted suicide than their heterosexual counterparts. And this only increases in rural areas. Our goal is to provide a safe and mutual area for gay, bi, trans, questioning, and supportive youth of Central High. We will provide educational information upon request. One of our goals is to increase social awareness to GLBT (Gay Lesbian Bi Trans) problems in the community and nation. To provide a safe and open area for anyone who wants to or needs help with GLBT issues, harassment, and information.
