Yesterday I asked if it was OK for students to wear "Straight Pride" T-shirts to school.

Dannii n Sac responded: "No that is pretty much the same as someone walking into school with a KKK outfit."

What is it with the sheer intolerance and bigotry displayed by so many gays and their advocates?

If they're not threatening their debate opponents with choking and acid facials, if they're not hurling racist slurs at opponents who (like me) happen not to be white, they're comparing straight people to the Klan.

I thought you folks were the big champions of respect and tolerance. But I guess many of you just want to receive those things, but don't want to give them.

Here's what's going on at the Georgia Institute of Technology, commonly known as Georgia Tech:

Gay Yellow Jackets (the official campus gay group) and their allies have started a campus group condemning a student who happens to be Asian and female.

They have sent emails to her (from Georgia Tech addresses) saying things like “***** I want to choke you.”

Some have expressed a desire to throw acid in her face.

They have posted pictures of her adorned with swastikas on the internet.

They have also passed out posters in dorms calling her a “Twinkie *****” – this to suggest that she is Asian on the outside and Caucasian on the inside.

In other words, these people are more than just dumb and emotionally unstable. They are also intolerant and racist, not to mention violent.

I've also received many PMs from some of you, similar in language and tone to the above.

What gives?

Isn't that called minding your business? I asked earlier what the deal with Coming out. My view is simple, the way a gay person feels towards oppo sex relations is how I feel towards same sex relations. It's revolting. So I don't care to see it or be around it. Thats not cause for destruction no-one deserves to be beat up or whatever. I guess my question is why do people give me so much Sh** for not caring. I went through this with my Mom and Dad, Mom left dad to go be Gay or whatever. So I hated her for a long time as a kid, for what she did to my pops he was good. Now I just don't care, she trys to involve me and as long as it's just her cool. If her girlfriends come around I'm out or I'm an asshole towards the situation. People tell me to grow up, Fu** you. The best thing I can do for Gay people is not care. I'm not a bigot or anything. I'm a lil open here so don't be a jerk but if you have some input I'll listen.

Its true. believe it or not their acting the same way whites acted in the past. For example my cousin only allows black people on her tagged team. wtf? and most black people rather hang out with "their own kind" hello? were equal. why not accept white people? not all of them are bad. only some but noooo you won't believe it. anyone agree?

It's almost a pandemic life-style: Tricked out cars, su'ped up trucks with gilded rims. We live in a country of consumerism, but is consumerism of America horribly excess when it's socially suave to pimp out one's ride? Adding neon lights to the bottom of one's car cleary doesn't improve the safety of the vehicle. Adding 20" spinning rims won't inherently up the retail value of one's car. If that was the case, I imagine more people would flock to pimp out their ride. Why do people do these wierd things?

That dude from Nsync is gay, I'm like sh** we knew that back in what 99. I digressed from my point, It is preached and preached that Gay people are no different but why the celebration for declaring your orientation doesn't that right there single you out and give cause to make you different. Shouldn't it be just like any other day? To me it's irratating becasue now a gay person needs more attention for who they choose to be with vs anyone else. If I don't care on the straight side why should I care about the other side why does it need to be told? I'm not bashing, so don't get all Mike Tyson-ishh I believe I have a point is all.
