I HAVE A LIMP TOO , IT'S NOT EASY TO HIDE BUT I CAN . MINE IS AT THE HIP , SO I WEAR LONG JACKETS OR SHIRTS TO DISGUISE IT . HAVING A LIMP DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH YOUR SEXUALITY . STAY STRONG .

Don't let it get you down. Gay or not be secure in who you are.
I knew a white guy that hung out mostly with black guys. He had a limp, and everyone thought he was a poser trying to have that strut that some of the big time hip hop/rap guys had. He just blew it off because he knew the truth and didn't care what people who weren't going to take the time to get to know the real him thought about him.
:-) Maybe you could put some more attitude into your limp and people will start thinking you're strutting instead of whatever they think they are seeing now.

if you have a limp, you have a limp. if someone thinks your gay because of it, that it their misconception, and the only way to change it is once you meet them, and talk to them for awhile, let them know how you got the limp, especially if it's an interesting story. if it is due to an accident or birth defect, then if you can find a way to laugh about it, then bring it up that way.
if you feel that you can't laugh at it, or that it isn't interesting, then just talking to the people should give them the knowledge of your sexual preference. not that it should matter what it is, or that you limp, but that's human nature.

The real question is are you gay? If you are and your using your limp leg as an excuse your scared and if your not gay then put people in their place. It's your choice on who you are.

If the people you are reffering to are young, many traits and behaviors will lead them to stereotype a person. Such comments can be good opportunities for introspection but don't take them as facts.
