I suspect one of my guy friends is gay!

It doesnt matter but I am just curious. And no I am n ot attracted to him in any way.

Catching them in an intimate moment with a person of the same gender is a dead giveaway!

Why do you want to know how you can tell that? He's your friend and it shouldn't matter to you who or what he is. Friends help each other out through thick and thin and they love, respect and trust each other for who they are without questions asked. Even if he is gay he's still your friend. He won't be a different person he will just be the same person he always was. Are you afraid or worried that if he is you won't be able to be friends anymore or are you more afraid of what others would say or think about the two of you being friends? It would be real sad if you would give up a good friendship because of this and who says that he really is gay. You could ask him is it really bothers you and you think it really necessary to know. But first look inside your heart why it is so important to know for you whether your friend is gay or not and if it's worth taking the risk of losing a good friendship over it.

Sometimes even with the most obvious signs a person can be wrong in their assumptions. Many feminine men are healthy heterosexuals. On the other end of the spectrum; many masculine men are gay. The perfect way of knowing is to be told and or ask with tact.

The only way to be sure is to ask, but if this is your friend why should it matter, will you not remain friends if he is gay?

Go up to hime and say "Hey, so do you like guys or what? 'cause I can't tell if you're gay or not"
different queers act in different ways. There are no hard and fast rules for figuring it out.

I can't tell at all. I know men that "act gay" and aren't; I know men that appear straight and are gay. I know women the same.

in my opinion there is no true way of guessing if some one is gay you just have to go with what your gut and ask them if you think that is what it right

Why do you CARE? Are you attracted to him? If so, tell him! If not, mind your own damn business - he's not bothering you!

Ask him, if you are his friend he will tell you....Or check in his dresser to see if he has a gay manual...look under his underwear to see if it is there...
