THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SOMEONE BEING MORE RACIST THAN SOMEONE ELSE.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOUR COMMENT.
SO YOU ARE SAYING THAT FOR 500YRS,UNTIL NOW,IT'S OKAY FOR WHITES TO BE RACIST TOWARDS BLACKS BUT WHEN BLACKS DO IT,IT'S WRONG?

LOOK,ALL RACISM IS WRONG.
BUT I'LL JUST SAY THIS:WHITES HAVE HAD THE CHANCE TO BE RACIST(OPENLY)FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS AND THEY STILL ARE.

Wow...I"m reading some of this and I keep seeing the NAACP being brought up...NAACP is NOT racist. I have plenty of friends who are apart of that organization and some of black and some are white. It's sad to say but, racism isn't going anywhere. Doesn't matter what color you are, or where you're from. It's not going anywhere. Do I believe blacks are more racist than white? No, it's pretty equal. I'm black myself and I am currently in the Air Force and stationed in Cheyenne Wy...now you tell me how many blacks do you think live up here...? It doesn't matter at all. As far as blacks wanting to only hang out with "their own kind" every race is like that!! It's life!!! I have all kinds of friends, black, white, Asian. And yes, the majority of them are black. You ask, "why not accept the white people" Why not accept EVERY RACE?! Racism ain't nothing but something the devil put on this earth and as long as people keep doing it, the longer it will be here. I think it's a damn shame that a question like that has to even be asked. People really need to start growing up..they really do. I love everybody. And for the person who put the comment up about starting a NAAWP...go right ahead..you'd be surprised how many blacks it won't bother...Any-who you all have a nice day..and remember, this was only my OPINION...God Bless..and Be Safe...

As African Americans we comprise only 13% of the population of the United States. Of that relatively small percentage, few of us vote and a large portion is incarcerated. We lack the ability and power to be racist.

At best, some will try to isolate circumstances where there may be a temporary advantage, but that is all.

However, society may have several racist vestiges remaining but for the most part the majority of Americans don't care about race as much as they fear the stereotypes about other races. We often confuse misunderstandings and preconceived notions as the same level of racism as the KKK. It isn't.

There are Black people who have a great many misconceptions but so do many Americans. I don't think any specific group has more or less than another.

Generalization man, I grew up in a white neighborhood went to a predomnatly white college and I don't trip. It's like this, there are some black people that you've met that you don't care to be around becasue he or she is an Ahole. That doens't make YOU a racist does it, no it just means you don't like that individual. There are white guys that I can't stand and it's becasue they are idiots. On both levels there are things that I feel my black friends see and understand better about me becasue were black. Women have women friends and guys have guy friends for the same reason thats just taking it to a lil deeper level. Don't judge every black person off the few that didn't include you. If I met you and you were cool you could come to my BBQ anytime. Knowledge is everything.....peace

Why yes they are quite racist, to the point of being completely seperatist, for example they have their own schools, they have a black Ms. America pageant, they have BET television, and thier own magazines. If white America tried any of these there would such an outcry of "oh thats discrimination".....They want political power but mess up everything they touch look at the city of Atlanta. They want everything we have but don't want to do the work. For instance they claim it's racism they are not allowed in schools which have high test scores as a qualifier. Racism isn't what kept them from studying. Anyway I am rambling now..Shotrt answer YES they are.

I'd have to say that white people are some of the most discriminated against. If my picture was black, do you think less people would call me a racist for writing my opinion? I think racism is anything that causes someone to wish they were a different race. I have been thinking about college recently and wishing that I were black or native american so I could get into college easier. That's sad.

I would think that any sane person who has been on this planet for more that two weeks, especially in this country, would agree with this. They want all-black universities, associations, and "caucuses", but they demand that there be no all-white anything. They like to gather and speak ebonics, ax questions, do coke, and show off their white women. And every cop that arrests one is "racist", and is "picking on" blacks. Another thing they do is to periodically change what they are called. In the 30's they were "coloreds", in the 50's they progressed to become "negroes", in the 80's they wanted to be called "blacks", and now they have morphed into "african-americans". Maybe the next will be "ebony-hued subequatorial hominiods." But racist???........nah.

feels like the ramblings of a racist man or woman. i'm no longer racist, my kinfolk is of diverse ethnic backgrounds and that i have were given heard this all beforehand. topics receives truly complicated even as race is in contact. i imagine of all of this stems from beforehand even as white pride became into linked with kkk and the killing of non-whites. We do have a tendency to stay contained in the previous and that is a vast difficulty for society at present. those who're no longer white are suffering to belong in a society it truly is often white ruled. you'll probable no longer trust me, even though it is what it truly is. So a team ought to be known a month out of a twelve months or have an afternoon or although. The dream is to have equality properly-known and as a society, we are no longer truly at that ingredient. topics are replacing, yet at a slow %... we are able to all do our section by treating all persons the way shall we favor to be treated and with any luck shrink racism so human beings gained't may favor to jot down emails like the purely above.

You're right. While whites are accused of being racists and criminals, black crime past white crime in 1960 and I've never seen a white person do or say anything racist. But I've seen blacks and Mexicans be racist all the time. People need to start thinking in bigger terms like American, or human, or pick any topic you have in common and try to leave race out of it.

I think it depend on what part of the country you live in, in the deep south, you have equal hate between both races. Sadly white people feel that back people are dumb and good for nothing ( don't but the ignorant do), while the black people feel that the white people have everything handed to them, and that they have no problems. But if you were to turn everyone purple, then they could see that deep down under our skin color we are all the same. We are made out of blood, bones and flesh. Everyone has feeling and problems.
